We produce small batches, because fresh is always best. And we recommend a one-year shelf life for the same reason.
To solve the challenge of people being time-poor, we’re producing powdered products, so they can be as instant as can be without compromising the nutritional qualities of our ingredients.
Our powdered ingredients have not been processed so they do not dissolve.
When you make a drink with food boost blends, you have two choices:

Our product pouch, our labels, and even our mailing bags are 100% home compostable.
Our labels are made from recycled paper and food grade glue. And we print using vegetable dyes.
All you need is a composting environment containing heat, water, oxygen, soil and micro-organisms.

Our products are made under contract according to Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), which have stringent quality control processes.
We also ensure our products are shipped in pristine condition.
In saying that, we are all human, and mistakes can happen.
If we send you the wrong product, or it is faulty, we operate following Australian Consumer Law and regulations.
When you receive your parcel, if something is wrong, send us an email straight away. Let us know what the problem is and provide proof of purchase.
We will contact you and organise a fair solution.
If an item is faulty or missing, you can choose a refund or replacement.
We ask that you make sure you want the items you order because we do not provide refunds if you change your mind.
We also do not take responsibility for incorrect storage or improper use of our products.
You want to know where your parcel is, and you don’t want it to go missing.
So, for peace of mind and security, we use Australia Post, with tracking, for domestic and international deliveries.
tracking your parcel
Once your order is with Australia Post, you will receive a tracking number via email. You are also given delivery options if you are not at home to receive your parcel.
You simply go to the Australia Post website https://auspost.com.au/ and click the RECEIVING icon on the menu bar. There you will find links for tracking and organising your delivery.
How long it takes to receive your parcel varies.
We send your parcel from Western Australia.
If you live locally, it can take 2-3 days, and longer in remote regions. Western Australia is a big place.
Delivery to other states in Australia can take up to two weeks.
International delivery times also vary, and parcels can be held up in customs too.
Simply add your address into the online shopping cart, and it will provide the most up to date rates direct from Australia Post.

We don’t like letting our customers down. To avoid delivery delays, please make sure you provide a correct mailing address and that your PayPal address is also up to date.
Some things delay delivery that we can’t control. There can be post office delays, weather events, and backlogs in customs. Public holidays can also delay shipments because Australian postal services are closed.
That’s why we have a tracked parcel service so that you remain informed.
If your package is taking longer than estimated, please let us know so we can lodge a missing parcel investigation with Australia Post.
If you have given us an incorrect address, your parcel should finally get back to us. We will cover the return to sender fee from Australia Post. However, you will need to pay for shipping again.
We deliver to most regions, except countries that do not have a reliable postal service. Sadly, the places we don’t deliver to include:
• North Korea
• South Africa
• South Africa
Always store herbs, teas, or spice in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat or moisture.
Storing herbs and spices in a cool place helps the shelf life of the product. Heat separates the essential oils found in them, which give off the ‘flavour’.
Keeping herbs and spices dry prevents mould from growing on them. All are susceptible, and dryness should be maintained at all times or they spoil.
Sunlight deteriorates herbs and spice. The heat from sunlight promotes oil separation and causes condensation, which can result in mould. Sunlight also bleaches, robbing herbs and spices of their natural colour, flavour and nutrients.
Toxic chemicals, including detergents, cleaning products, deodorisers, and insect sprays emit a chemical odour. Herbs and spice absorb aroma. If they are stored in proximity to chemicals, you will destroy them.
Insects love food as much as we do. They thrive in warm conditions. The ones to watch out for are Ants, Pantry Moth and Drugstore Beetles. To prevent insect infestation, always store herbs and spice in airtight containers.
Using a dry spoon, measure herbs and spice into a small bowl before adding them to whatever you are cooking. This will prevent moisture, heat or steam entering the storage container – and give you greater control over how much you are adding to your dish.
The Australian government guideline for shelf life on spices is 4 years for whole and 2 years for ground. We believe fresh is always best, so try to use them in 12 months.
